What capacity do you have?

Meet yourself where you are.

What may be happening

You do not need to explain more.

Make the next minute smaller.

Put both feet down. Let one exhale be longer than the inhale.

Words you can use

I am overloaded. I need to pause and come back to this later.

Why this exists

Overload often takes the words first.

Most support tools begin with an empty box: explain what happened, name what you need, make a plan. That can be impossible at the exact moment support matters most.

Wired Differently starts with capacity instead. Three taps can lead to a prewritten script, one small action, or a quieter screen—without turning a hard moment into another performance.

How it works

Three taps when language is expensive.

1

Check in

Choose Steady, Stretched, or Overloaded. No journaling required.

2

Add what feels loud

Optional words and contributors help the app make a more relevant suggestion.

3

Get one right-sized option

A transparent recommendation, one action, and a script you can use as-is.

4

Keep only what helps

Save useful words, dismiss poor fits, and build a private record over time.

Signature experience

A calmer interface is part of the support.

Overloaded mode removes choices and explanations. Stretched mode keeps one clear path. Steady mode offers more context only when you have room for it.

Capacity comes first

The app asks how much you have left before it asks for more.

It gets smaller when you are overloaded

When capacity is low, the interface stays simple, calm, and low-demand.

The words are already there

Use prewritten scripts for a manager, partner, doctor, friend, or yourself—without producing a perfect prompt.

Who it is for

Built for neurodivergent adults. No diagnosis required.

The primary audience is ADHD, autistic, and AuDHD adults—including people who are self-identified or still figuring it out. Others who benefit from capacity-first support are welcome.

  • ADHD and autistic adults
  • AuDHD and questioning adults
  • People navigating shutdown or overload
  • People who lose access to words under stress
  • People exhausted by productivity systems
  • People who need support without an account

App experience

Small enough in the moment. Deep enough to return to.

This is not a mood-tracker demo. It is a support library, script builder, personal “what helps me” record, and honest pattern mirror—designed to stay useful after the first week.

Product principles

Built for fatigue, brain fog, sensory sensitivity, and overwhelm.

Accessibility and emotional safety are not add-ons. They shape how Wired Differently looks, sounds, and asks for your attention.

Reduced motion support

Animations stay minimal, and motion respects your system preferences.

Clear contrast

Readable text, calm hierarchy, and colour choices tested for legibility.

Low stimulation mode

The interface can stay quieter when your capacity is low.

Touch-friendly controls

Primary buttons and capacity choices are sized for tired hands and foggy focus.

No guilt-based streaks

Absence is not punished. Returning should feel the same as staying.

Reset without shame

A hard day is information, not failure. You can start again gently.

Privacy and trust

Support should not come with hidden pressure.

Privacy is a product feature here, not a policy-page promise. The app works locally, asks for no account, and does not transmit your check-ins or notes.

Check-ins and notes stay on your device
No account or cloud profile
No analytics SDK or ad network
Export and delete controls are built in
No manipulative engagement systems or streaks
Recommendations are explainable and dismissible

Disclaimer

Wired Differently is a supportive, educational capacity and self-understanding tool. It is not medical advice, therapy, diagnosis, treatment, crisis support, or a medical device.

Founder note

Why Wired Differently is being built

Wired Differently began with a simple frustration: most tools still expect people to have more energy, focus, and capacity than they actually do.

This product is being designed differently. It starts by respecting the person using it — their current capacity, their lived experience, and their right to support without shame, pressure, or being treated like a problem to solve.

Built with care for minds that do not move in straight lines.

FAQ

Clear answers, no pressure.

Is this therapy?

No. Wired Differently is an educational and supportive self-understanding tool. It is not therapy, medical advice, diagnosis software, or crisis support.

Is there AI?

No. The current app uses deterministic, inspectable rules and prewritten content. It has no runtime AI and is not a chatbot or AI companion.

When is it launching?

The app is in private founder testing. There is no public app access or launch date yet because real-device and accessibility checks are still underway.

Where does my app data go?

Your check-ins, notes, saved supports, and patterns stay in the app's local device storage and are not sent to Wired Differently. There is no product account, analytics SDK, ad network, or cloud profile. Platform backups and copies you export follow your device settings.

Current availability
